From Science and Math, to Music and Art, to Language and Tae Kwon Do, 2009 BAM Discovery Club has something for everyone. The 2009 Discovery Club courses take learning and fun to a new level. SCIENCE AND MATHEMATICS (2009) We’re turning everyday activities into cool science and math lessons. Our lineup of workshops creates a playground for budding scientists, math whizzes, and just plain overly curious kids. It’s geek learning disguised as fun!
SAFETY EDUCATION (2009) Empowering kids to make smart decisions is what it’s all about. These lessons in life skills come complete with games and active discussions to reinforce kid confidence, ensure personal safety, and boost self-esteem.
MUSICAL PERFORMANCE (2009) Music promotes wonder and provides enormous educational benefits, but there’s no need explaining that to kids. They simply love the freedom to explore music, song, and singing on their own terms. And they’ll simply love these opportunities to perform and practice.
ART (2009) Creativity. Self-expression. Fun. It’s all here. Children already know how to be artists! Fostering that artistic streak is an important part of their development. Letting kids experience art in their own way allows them to show us how they see the world. Go Art Smart!
MUSIC & DANCE (2009) High-energy fun starts here! These exceptional opportunities let kids exercise rhythm and coordination, as well as their love of music and stage performance. Get them ready to sound off or move to the groove!
CULTURAL EXPLORATION (2009) The world offers interesting and enriching experiences. Kids can explore how other people live, work, play, and speak. Kids will thrive in our global community when they expand their knowledge of different cultures.
SCHOOL READINESS (2009) We’re helping kids improve their school success by giving them cognitive, physical, social and emotional support. Children enter school ready to learn and much more confident in their abilities.
MENTAL & PHYSICAL STRENGTHENING (2009) Strong minds, strong bodies. These classes build physical strength and enhance concentration. Kids learn self-defense, but also self-discipline and self-confidence.
