Our Discovery Club Program is for 4K - 8th Grade Students |
BAM Summer 2011 Discovery Clubs |
Discovery Clubs (rising 4K - 8th Grade)
This year, our Discovery Clubs will be offered beginning at 1:10pm, Monday - Thursday. Students may enroll in a variety of clubs covering such topics as art, cooking, technology, and Spanish and Mandarin language immersion. We will also be offering readiness classes to help students transition back into the school environment in our final week of Discovery Clubs.
Club Invention (rising 1st - 6th grade)
Additionally, you will want to check out Club Invention, which runs June 27-30 at WIS for rising 1st - 6th graders. During that week, we will only be offering day care opportunities for our older campers not wishing to participate in Club Invention.

SCIENCE AND MATHEMATICS
We’re turning everyday activities into cool science and math lessons. Our lineup of workshops creates a playground for budding scientists, engineers and architects; math whizzes, and just plain overly curious kids. It’s geek learning disguised as fun!
|
FINE ARTS, COOKING AND MORE
Creativity. Self-expression. Fun. It’s all here. Children already know how to be artists, cooks, producers and more! Fostering that artistic and intellectual streak is an important part of their development. Letting kids experience these courses in their own way allows them to show us how they see the world.
|
LANGUAGE ARTS
Challenge yourself with reading and writing this summer. Books clubs and writing workshops will keep children's minds engage while enjoying the company of others.
|
ELEMENTARY AND MIDDLE SCHOOL READINESS
We’re helping kids improve their school success by giving them cognitive, physical, social and emotional support. Children enter school ready to learn and much more confident in their abilities. |
FOREIGN LANGUAGE SCHOOL
The world offers interesting and enriching experiences. Kids can explore how other people live, work, play, and speak. Kids will thrive in our global community when they expand their knowledge of different cultures.
|
FOREIGN LANGUAGE FOR WIS STUDENTS
These Spanish and Mandarin classes are an orientation for new WIS students as well as a review for WIS students that are returning.
