BAM Day Camp Program
for Toddlers - 8th
|
At Body and Mind (BAM) Kids Club, kids explore a wide variety of fun-filled activities. Each day provides opportunities that physically challenge their growing bodies and inspire their developing minds.
Children participate in a variety of academic enrichment, recreational and cultural activities that support and enhance scholastic achievement and social development. Our days begin with stimulating activities and games to review previous learning and keep the mind active for ultimate knowledge retention . We also keep those creative juices flowing throughout the day with funky arts and crafts, imaginative twists on traditional games and sports. Kids engage in many outdoor adventures to boost physical fitness and encourage inquiry into the world around them. Walking trips to local parks, organized sports, picnic lunches, water activities, and field trips are just a few examples of how the outdoors and surrounding community are incorporated into the day.
Supervised lunch is part of the full day experience. Campers need to bring their own snacks and lunches from home!
BAM kids dive into swimming lessons, tumble into gymnastics, and groove into Zumba 3 mornings a week at the YWCA (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday)
Campers venture out to local libraries to support literature and research activities. Weekly themes capture their attention and drive their daily studies. A week at sea, in the forest, on the farm, in a submarine, and planting a garden are just a few of the exciting themes your child will take part in as part of our summer program.
Campers are divided into age-appropriate groups which will encourage ultimate participation, satisfaction, and provide the challenge we all hope a summer well-spent will provide!ay

Day Camp Program
for Toddlers
(children 18 months - 3 years - entering Toddler or 3K program) |
The youngest members of our day camp will participate in theme-based activities and art projects, along with weekly cooking projects, outdoor recess (dependent on weather), story time, and a daily welcome and farewell meetings to plan out and close our day! Each day, the children will be given the opportunity to use their imaginations and explorative natures to make the most out of both individual and group activities. In addition to the activities listed above, children will also spend time visiting the school library and will be introduced to basic Spanish vocabulary through activities, books, and music.
For those staying full day, lunch will follow the half-day dismissal. Snack and lunch need to be brought from home. After lunch, the children will have a quiet napping/resting period before finishing out their day.
Those participating in the Toddler Day Camp will not take part in field trips and outings with the older campers. Instead, we will utilize the areas within our school and the outdoor play area!
Our weekly themes will be as follows; June 21 - Farm Animals, June 28- Things that Go, July 5- Fun in the Sun, July 12 - Weather, July 19 - Trees, Plants & Bugs, July 26- Fish & Sea Creatures, August 2- Jungle & Zoo Animals, August 9 - Exploring Space and August 16 - Once Upon a Time Week.
