At Body and Mind (BAM) Kids Club, kids explore a wide variety of fun-filled activities. Each day provides opportunities that physically challenge their growing bodies and inspire their developing minds.
Days begin with stimulating summer learning reviews and games to keep brain cells active and firing on all cylinders. We keep those creative juices flowing during the morning with fine arts and funky craft projects. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings, they dive into swimming or tumble into gymnastics at the YWCA.
Then it’s on to lunch and afternoons filled with on-the-move activities. Kids engage in outdoor games and adventures to boost physical fitness. There’s also chaperoned swimming for older kids at De Pere’s VFW Park.
Throughout the summer we’ll embark on numerous field trips that combine fun with learning—Bay Beach, the NEW Zoo, Green Bay Botanical Gardens, the Neville Public Museum, the Building for Kids, and more. Field trip dates will be announced post-registration. Fees covering transportation and admission expenses, along with permission slips are required for all field trips.
Day Campers are divided into three groups: 2-3 year olds, 4 year olds – rising 3rd graders, and rising 4th-8th graders to ensure age-appropriate activities and encourage ultimate participant satisfaction.
