DAY CAMP
Hello, parents and campers! My name is Adam Gruse, and I will be one of the day camp teachers for this summer. I am excited to be working with you and look forward to getting to know each and every one of you.
I have been working with summer camp programs for the past three summers— previously at St. Vincent Hospital’s Children’s Center—and I work with older children, mainly secondary students, during the school year on various English-related goals. I graduated in December from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a degree in Secondary Education and a focus on English.

DAY CAMP
I am a 2008 graduate of the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. I have a B.S. in Elementary Education with a specialty area in Science. I previously worked for a before/after-school and summer enrichment program in Saint Paul, MN. I grew up in Kewaskum, Wisconsin, lived in Minnesota for 5 years after high school, and recently moved to Appleton. I enjoy hiking, camping, reading, and baking.

TODDLER & PRESCHOOL DAY CAMP
The majority of my childcare experience has been in the infant to 3-year-old range. I spent the last six summers working in the nursery at an area vacation bible school. My primary responsibility was creating and doing projects with the toddlers. I also led outside activities for the youngest students, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I am excited to extend my experience at Wisconsin International School!
